Hehehe I thought about playdough in the stocking then changed my mind as I decided I didn’t fancy homemade playdough all over my bed.  (here the stocking gets opened in bed, and hopefully keeps little one entertained for a while longer so I don’t have to get up so early! lol.

Ryes stocking is shaping up as thus:

    1 Habba Black Cat
    Pack of crayons
    Couple of small wooden cars
    Small wooden fire engine
    Scarf
    Mits
    Little notepad
    Satsuma
    homemade breakfast cookies
    box of figs (family tradition)
    Mr Men book

That should pretty much fill his stocking.  I think I may have a few other little bits, but I can’t remember now off the top of my head.

Harry’s will probably be mainly edible!  Chocolate coins, satsuma, shiny pound coin in the toe, some little Thomas books, maybe a couple of little cars, and some socks!  Oliver’s presents this year are his stocking, present sack and a first christmas bauble.  he really doesn’t need any clothes or toys so can’t think of anything else to put in really!

The girls will have PJS and slipper socks to open on Christmas Eve (a brill tradition as it means they’re wearing something without stains or holes in the Christmas morning pics haha…) then stockings in the morning.

Jenna has lip balm and hair bobbles.  Morgan has a couple of pieces of play food and hair clips.  They have a wooden figure or two each, nature spotting cards, a story book, colouring pencils and notebook, packet of raisins, socks, an item of clothing, satsuma, apple, and probably a pound coin.  There is usually a noisy toy (“what else is 4am FOR?“) but this year I can’t find one I like.  Rowan has a wooden pushalong from the charity shop, a fairtrade rattle and a twisty bead toy, clothes, socks, and a book.

They have the stacking treeblocks bark house as their one and only, joint, main present.  And that only because we were given some money in the summer to spend on them.  We don’t really do big Christmas presents (although last year we were given money and got the play kitchen, the first time our entire spend on the children came over £60).  If they are given a lot of presents we may well save the stacking house for some time in the new year!

My LO will only be 5 months at Christmas but seeing as I do both DH and the Cat (!) a stocking I’ve thought of a couple of things I can do for him

    Bell Sticks
    Wooden Myriad Rattle
    Crocheted Booties
    Crocheted Hat
    Bandana Bib
    Baby Legs
Ostheimer Figure (he’s a bit young but hoping to start building a collection!)

Just need to think about what to put in DH’s!

    Leo’s stocking:

    wooden gnome house
    jingle bells
    wooden carrot
    stickers
    little wooden bus
    book
    dried fruit bars
    home-made coconut mouse
    christmas socks
    choc coins
    satsuma

Leo will also have PJs and a christmas decoration to put on the tree on Christmas Eve. His main present is 2 ostheimer animals - a hedgehog and a squirrel. Then with that I’ve got some videos (from the charity shop) - Mary Poppins, Cinderella and the Tigger movie. Also a couple of sticker and colouring books from the pound shop! Oh and we are also giving him a fairy tale book. Will also make him some biscuits and sweeties. This will all go in a big gift bag under the Christmas tree.

After the New Year I’ve arranged to take Rye and the Home Ed group to see Cinderella,a nd while the tickets are a bargain, it’s quite alot to me.
