I have a few infuriating to buy for relatives and would like to have a go at making some choccies.  Does anyone have a good recipe to share please?  One of them is gluten free - but others doesn’t matter.

Any ideas / recipes / links gratefully received!
Thanks.

I was looking through recipe books tonight for seasonal gift ideas when dh mentioned that his mum used to make peppermint creams. I haven’t got an actual recipe for them but looking online at recipes it looks like they are made from egg white, icing sugar and peppermint essence. Not sure how in advance they can be made or their store-ability.
I’m going to give them a go and see how they turn out.

I’ve found this recipe for them

As far as peppermint creams go; my mom used to make a cheats version for my dad; kneading peppermint oil into white ready-to-roll icing and cut into shapes. We had a holly leaf shape, so she would sometimes put natural green colouring in it, and if he hadnt been an pain in the bum recently, she would half dip them in dark chocolate
