Have just moved to Stratford having recently returned from New Zealand with my two little girls and would love to get in touch with anyone in the Stratford area.
I'm not there now, but grew up in Alcester (about 10-15 minutes away). My parents and bro are still there, so we do visit regularly, next time we're up for any length of time I'll try to remember to give you a shout before we leave

Hello, I am in Redditch, used to work in Stratford, went to school in Alcester, and uni in Birmingham! Definitely a Midlands lass!
I grew up and went to school in Alcester - when and where did you go - (me nosey never! )
I went to the Infants (Old Building before it was knocked down to make way for flats), St Faiths, then the Grammar (I'm 33)
I was at the grammar, and I'm 34! So we must have been there at the same time!!!! I'm from Studley, so went to the infants and juniors there, but then went to the Grammar from 1984 to 1991. My maiden name was Huffadine.
Hello - I'm a southerner by birth but consider myself a midlander now after marrying one & settling here. We moved to Studley (where my husband grew up & his parents still live) a few years ago.

My husband recognises your maiden name! - he says he thinks he was in the year above you - he went to Studley high then Alcester grammar for sixth form.
Wow, small world. One thing for having an unusual surname is that it is not easily forgotten! So are you still in Studley? Whereabouts? My Mum lives in Westmead Avenue, and I get my veg from the farm shop opposite Spernall Garage!
What is your husband's name? I might remember him!

Blimey, I went on a school trip to the French Alps with him! At least if my memory serves me correctly!
I used to live in Knottesford Close!
He says he didn't go on a trip to the Alps….unless you are thinking of his younger brother?
