i’ve really noticed an emergence of rudeness towards one another in this country in the past 10 years.  I blame sections of the media and TV programmes like The Weakest Link and Trinny & Susannah

Yes!  I have always blamed Eastenders for this same thing.  I began to notice a definte decline when it started

I’m getting used to comments now.  my husbands family are all the type to say what they think - usually not to your face but in front of you to friends!  DH just tells me he thinks my family is weird cause we “pussy foot” around each other!  Um, or we take in account people’s feelings…  DH is constantly telling me I’m weird and into a lot of oddness, that my friends are weirdo hippies and that i talk a lot of rubbish.  These are mainly references to my pagan leanings rather thna trying to be green, but the latest area or “rubbish and nonsense” is trying to grow my own veg when I could just go to tesco!  it doesn’t happen often but it can be upsetting, I just learn to live with it, I know he won’t change!
