Hi all

I found this site after a customer recommended us here…

I’m Jo, I’m 33, and have two daughters (4 months and 3.5 years) and a husband. I also run an online fabric retail business http://www.saintsandpinners.co.uk I love fashion, pattern, beauty, music, gentleness, thinking about the big issues and Come Dine With Me smile I don’t like violent films, loud noises (what a wimp!), traffic jams…

My concessions to ‘green-ness’ so far are: A half-plot allotment, meat just a couple of times a week, children in cloth nappies, no tumble drier, one day a week car free and husband cycles to work, minimal use of cleaning products, refashioning clothes and making quilts. I generally don’t waste much if I can help it and have been known to yell ‘don’t throw that away’, momentarily forgetting myself, when anyone’s about to get rid of something I could make use of. Sometimes I do make use of it, and sometimes I don’t… But it all gets considered smile

My green ‘sins’ wink include: buying cut-price clothes on the high street, having a bath every day, using disposables now and again, buying cheap fruit and veg from Aldi - and probably numerous others.

Pleased to meet you all.

Jo

“Hello, this is Radio 4. The news today: the world is ending, and most of us are going to die in a variety of hideous and extremely painful ways. Later on in the programme, we discuss how this will affect the already falling W.I membership numbers. But right now, it’s time for “The Archers”

Hi and welcome smile

Now I may be going mad, but my friend Natalie mentioned a fabric site run by her friend, and I think it might be yours… apologies if my memory is letting me down here! Nice to ‘meet’ you either way smile

Hello, nice to meet you!  Also love your site…  Will be fabric hunting as soon as we have spare money - you have inspired more projects lol.

My daughters are similar ages to yours except I have one in between as well lol.  Jenna is four soon, Morgan 2.5 and Rowan 3 months.  Looking forward to sharing the journey with you and hearing your thoughts both large and small.  wink

Welcome.  smile
