We stayed at a lovely one which was westermill farm (cant remember web address but google should find it) river running though it where the children played, campfires allowed in one field and facilities very clean, plus a shop for local produce at the farmhouse. It is in Devon, um cant remember where! geography not my strong point!

I’ve recommended this place before, lovely place to go, near Bodmin if that’s any good. Fabulous place, and popular so not sure what they may have available for this year now

Thank you for the suggestion! I am going to show it too DH. I found the website! It looks lovely so I will have to given them a ring and see how full they are this summer.

Thanks for the suggestion, I checked out the site a few weeks ago but they are already full for August! It looks perfect though. We might try to get there next year XXX

I don’t mind anything really basic, if it has a tap/toilet/one shower in the middle of no where that is great for us and is what we are looking for.

Yeah, sorry I should have looked, they do book up although it never feels too busy there. Another year maybe, we’re thinking of there next year if we can sort out a tent we like, otherwise may stay in a cottage down in Cornwall.

I had a look at the other one mentioned above too and have bookmarked it - sounds lovely too grin
