we were going to go away for a week soon in our caravan. i’m thinking it could now be a catastrophy.
2 adults 2 kids and a 6 month old baby.
I don’t cope well with stress.
you’d think that by the third i’d have it all worked out, but everything is still completely up in the air.. just when I thin a patten is emerging little man changes his mind.

How about taking a tent as well and pitching alongside to give you more room and if need be some space for you and baby to sleep, feed or escape to!

We always take 2 tents with us, as I need my own space and usually land up in there with 1 or more small people.

Hope you work it out, at least baby is not on the move!

oh no don’t say that, big surprise  we are leaving in 5 weeks to spend over a year living in a caravan with two kids aged 1yr and 3 yrs. smile  Would like to hear how it goes and what the difficulties are? i think the problems we’ll have are all living in such a small space for so long but think after a few weeks we should all settle in.

Hi there. Don’t panic, I was just having a bit of a moan. I love routine, don’t like change much and any suprises should be thouroughly well planned.

We have taken our boys on holiday in the caravan twice now, and at some point they were two and three. the first night settling down for bed is the worst, but after that it’s pretty good.
We were in a holiday situation though and were out most of the time, so used the caravan mostly as a base.
not sure how it would be living in it for a year though.
I imagine you would probably have something a little bigger than our two berth?
