OK so it´s not about real nappies, but I can´t be the only one who uses the occasional “eco disposable” (yes I know in reality there´s no such thing!).....but anyhow I just found these are made in Israel, so that´s the end of that then!!! Sometimes my reasons to try harder come from a tangent!!.....
...and they know it´s gonna go down like a lead balloon, see if you can find where it says it on the packaging (hint: you may need a magnifying glass!!)
oop, sorry I just read the post title!
We use a nappy from the health food shop (Bambo, i think) as a going away nappy. They are Danish, but not sure where they are manufactured
I think the thing to do is scour the packaging til you find out, it has to be there. Nature has all sorts of misleading (but factual) references to them being developed in Sweden but only in tiny tiny print does it say they are made in Israel. Having googled it, it seems this has been causing some outrage for sometime, but I guess it has slipped below the radar. Making me want to do a bit of stickering in the local supermarket (especially as there are posters up in there about boycotting Israeli veggies and so on).
im so shocked.
thank you for the heads up!
i wont be buying them anymore! no wonder it’s such a small print. like supermarket fruit packaging says bat yam sometime to try and trick you.
gosh i hope this potty training comes quicker as i cant get hold of bambo and moltex are so expensive!

Suma does a bulk deal on Moltex (which I think are far more eco friendly anyhow) that makes them pretty competitive (unless my maths is wrong!!)
the last ethicscore I saw on nappies gave moltex a bad rating - something to do with its parent company. Can’t remember, but worth checking out before switching to moltex.
Bambo are made in Denmark and have been awarded a green award thingy. However, I haven’t found any info on them that is not trying to sell them to you, so I don’t know how true it is, IYKWIM
