Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced pull-up nappy? DS1 is getting keener to try going to the toilet but still doesn’t go before it happens.  I started trying him with disposable pull-ups, with bob the builder on the front, and he loves them and won’t wear cloth nappies now!
I’ve come across the minki ones, including one with bob on the front, but they are a bit pricey.  Are imse vimse proper nappies or just training pants?  Intending to get some bright bots when he seems a bit closer to mastering the toilet.
TIA

Don’t know about the ones you mention, but the last nappies my daughter was in were Motherease Sandys which can be used as a pullup, although you need a wrap too but also can do as a pullup - it’s often how I used to take them off her for changing. We never really tested them out as pullups for when starting to use the toilet though as she just went straight from having a nappy on to just using the toilet.

we use nature babycare pull ups (you can get them in big boots) and are reasonably priced. dont take as long to degrade as pampers.

We got the minki ones with Bob on but they were a rubbish fit on DS who is 2.10 as he has slim thighs - there were gaps all round his legs - so no good if you have s slim DS

and I can’t find the swaddlebees in large size anywhere, such a shame as they look perfect.  He is quite a slim build so minki’s might be too trim.

Are the bright bots a good inbetweener for potty training?
They look like a slightly padded pant is that about right, the nappy lady has them on sale (well did yesterday) and was wondering whether to get a few pairs or if it’s worth it.  Have a few other questions about going from nappies to pull up or pants but don’t want to high jack a thread so will post a new topic smile

Toby never really got on with ANY kind of in-betweener - if there was any kind of padding in it at all he forgot it was not a nappy and weed in anyway. The brightbots weren’t any worse than the others we tried, so for a ‘normal’ child, they would probably be fine.

Toby actually went from nappies to naked, and then naked to pants. If we tried putting anything on him to start with, he weed in it. When we went out I used to take him comando as he knew not to wee in trousers.
