Hello Kat, welcome to the forum
I’m Julia, married, with 4 children aged 14, 12, 8, and (almost) 5. Baby number 5 is due to join us in November all being well.
We live near Torquay in Devon, and home-educate the children so they no longer go to school.
We have just gone through the night-time training routine with our youngest, although we don’t really *do* training here, more just go with the flow
Just a plastic sheet on the bed, taking note of the amount of drinks he had towards bedtime (and limiting where appropriate), ensuring toilet visit before getting into bed, and if we thought it necessary (due to liquid intake beforehand), we would get him up to go to the toilet before we went to bed ourselves. Actually, we hardly had to do this (I think maybe twice?), and he didn’t fully wake on either occasion. I think we had around 4 night-time accidents and he is now fully dry. We just leave him to it now, he knows when he wants to go and I have heard him get up when he needs to.
I look forward to chatting with you.
Jules xx
