Right, I now know of at least 5 of us living along the south-central coast, and I reckon that’s a flying start for a mini-meet! So, who’s up for it? What days are good and where is most easily accessible for us all?

Tuesdays and Wednesdays are good for me.

Anyone else?

Oooh I’d love to meet some of you, we were at Bournemouth beach and aquarium yesterday with our home ed group.  We live in Totton so travel all around the New Forest and Soton area.  I can do most days except Thursdays which are home ed meets. Am on hol for a week in a month’s time but otherwise free.

Hmmm ... this is where it gets difficult for me as we have various things/commitments and I’ve got some additional craft related outings going on over the next couple of months too. I think I’ll see what the rest of you could do and then just come along if I am free or can re-arrange something. Bournemouth is ok for us by train (45-55 mins), so long as the meet up isn’t too early wink  or I could just turn up a little later. Will try to remember to keep watching this post smile

My schedule’s a bit erratic, but generally afternoons are better than mornings on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Although, that said, I stop working as of 25 July, so things get a bit more open, especially on Tuesdays. I’ll do my best to make things work!

How bizarre - I posted a reply a couple of days ago, but it hasn’t shown up!

Anyway, it sounds like bournemouth is a popular choice for holding the inaugral GP South Coast Mini-meet! Can I suggest Tuesday 3rd August at midday? There is a lovely wooden playpark at the end of Bournemouth Gardens with some shade and plenty for the kids to do if the weather is fine. I will have a think about rainy day options. I can collect people from Bournemouth Station if that’s helpful - it’s a bit of a trek if you’re walking! If we start at the park, we could always move on to the beach later if people want - that’s a pleasant and not too taxing walk ( and is drivable for those currently suffering! )

Can I suggest a bring-and-share veggie picnic? Does that work fior everyone?

Let me know if you fancy it and can make the date, and we’ll take it from there!

Hi, sounds like a plan, Bournemouth is a good place to meet.  I am going to be away at the beginning of August though so if we can make it the last week in July instead then that would be great.  If not, then I will wait for the next meet:-)
Thanks, Karolina
