As I was moaning about not being able to get to a Faery Festival (all too far south) my friends told me about the Festival of Magic, Myth and Legend that they went to in Clapham, North Yorkshire.

They thought that it took place every 2 years but I can only find details for the first one in 2004 and wondered if it was still happening and when? Hope someone can help

I’ve never heard of this festival and have been back in North Yorks since 2005, although I have to confess I don’t know where Clapham is! Think it might be up in the Dales somewhere. I have some festival goers (who live up this neck of the woods) on my FB list and DH knows a guy who helps organise a few of the northern ones so I’ll ask around and see what I can find out.

Shame - I wish there were some Faery festivals in Cumbria.  I am organising other events at the moment or might see about doing something!

Hi DD, sorry it’s taken so long to get back to you but DH did ask his friend and apparently he’d never heard of it. Does look as if it was a one off I’m afraid.
