Hi all,

Not sure if this is the right place for this so if its not please feel free to move it but I wanted to let you all know about a Stenier inspired parent and child group I run in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

I took over the group in the summer from a fabulous lady whose family have now gone travelling round Europe, its just a voluntary thing not a business, my son and I enjoyed the group so much that when I heard it was going to close I decided to take it on. I have sinced moved the location to a room that has great outdoor space which we will use A LOT in the spring and summer terms. Below is all the information about the group. If you would like anymore details please do drop me an email. Also there is off road car parking, excellant bus service and safe buggy parking in the room. And we also usually open during normal school holidays like half term etc.

Blossom Parent and Child Group. (Stenier Inspired)
A gentle space where you and your child can enjoy being with others.
Baking, craft, singing, stories and lots of time for imaginative and creative play.
Children aged 0 - 3 yrs old and their parent/carers.
£3 for one child or £4 for two.
First session is free…come along and see if you like us !!
Friday mornings…10am - 12pm.

Hi Becky, Im also a Becky   Id be really interested to find out more as Im in Sheffield with 2 little ones who are home educated, it might be worth you mentioning your group on the south yorkshire home ed yahoo list if you havent already as Im sure there would be others who could be interested in coming along

Thanks for the tip off about the home ed group, I havent got it listed there but I will do. I have been to one of their groups, Thurs mornings at St Oswalds Church off Abbeydale Road. Its excellant, I plan to go back their after Easter. Not been since Sept as I am doing an MA and Thursdays have been my uni day but my teaching year finishes soon.

When you first posted I thought you were another Becky who home educates in Sheffield, who has got two little boys but when I looked on your blog I realised it wasnt so thats another Becky in Sheffield.
Whereabouts are you ? I live at Handsworth S13, just down the road from the Blossom group !!!
