Just thought I’d post this here for anyone interested in crafts, there is a new programme on BBC starting Fri 12th Feb. It’s called MasterCrafts, hosted by Monty Don. It’s covering traditional crafts - stone masonry, blacksmith, weaving, thatching, and a couple of other things.

One of the looms on the weaving programme belongs to a member of our Spinning and Weaving Guild   - it was on loan for the programme.

Oh, this sounds interesting.  It was only a matter of time before TV reflected the growing crafts interest, I’ll try and remember to watch this!

Oh the lovely Monty, so glad he is back on tv, really enjoying his ‘My dream farm’ series too. Will definitely be watching this one too.

I too love Monty, he is just fab! Good to see him back after his ill health
