Run For Rainforest

In the past 20 years the Rainforest Foundation UK has helped to protect over 100,000 square kilometres of rainforest land for sustainable use by local communities. You can help out on 18th Sept by taking part in a 10K run.

Bring your family along for a great day out, take part in the children’s 1km fun run and have your face painted at “Finsbury Park”: http://www.rainforestfoundationuk.org/4SC on 18th Sept. The event will start at 10.30am with a 1K Fun Run for kids under 9, where parents are welcome to run with their children, followed by a fun zumba warm up for the 10K runners. The main race will start at approximately 11.15am.

As well as the two races, the “event”: http://www.rainforestfoundationuk.org/4SC also features ethical food stalls, live music, children’s entertainment and a free massage zone. Ribbon medals will be awarded to everyone and there will be trophies for the first three in each category. Spot prizes and monthly prizes will also be awarded to the best fundraisers.
