INSPIRATION
After I was diagnosed with a thyroid condition, I found that my skin was very sensitive and dry. I decided to make my own and I remember the excitement when I formulated my first soap recipe. Emina’s Botanical Boutique was born. My company is a fusion between traditional herbalism and modern apothecary. I am proud to say that since our first launch we have won three beauty awards.
BEST BEAUTY ADVICE
Someone once told me the importance of cleaning our face before going to bed. I recommend to always remove your makeup before going to bed because during the day our skin is exposed to free radicals and other oxidative stressors which can break down collagen and cause premature aging.

I never go anywhere without my SPF sunscreen and EBB facial oil moisturizing serum which is available in my online store.
WHAT’S NEXT FOR YOUR BRAND?
By the end of this year I am planning to realise our first range of botanical perfume made only with 100% distilled plant-based oils and absolutes. Also, we are in the testing process for making our first botanical deodorant paste.

• Most skin care products are full of harmful ingredients, toxins, and chemicals. Buy an eco-friendly, sustainable alternative. I believe that less is more we don’t need many skincare items in our bathroom.
• Use a natural soap that can be used all over the body and use a botanical facial oil or body balm to get the proper nutrients for your skin.
• Buy plastic free skincare to minimize waste.
