FIVE best beauty buys

We asked the lovely ladies over at the natural beauty one stop shop, Amarya for their recommendations for summer skin treats and here's what they came up with. Read on to find out about the best natural shampoo for dried out locks and gorgeous scented oil to rehydrate the skin.

1. Self Tanning Shimmer Spray – Sun Sensitive by Lavera (200ml £15.50)
Create a wonderful tan without the sun. This easy to apply Self Tanning Shimmer Spray contains 100% plant and sugar based tanning ingredients together with natural shimmer particles releasing a beautiful sun kissed tan on your skin. The Self Tanning Shimmer Spray can be used on the most sensitive of skins. The Self Tanning Shimmer Spray with organic moisturising ingredients leaves your skin feeling soft and truly moisturised. Self Tanning Shimmer Spray has a lovely summery aroma.

2. Soothing After Sun Oil by Spiezia (100ml £18)
We all love having that summer glow and getting out in the sunshine is great for our sense of well being, but protection from the sun’s harmful rays is essential if you want your skin to stay beautiful and healthy. You can minimise sun damage with a floppy hat and sarong when the sun is at its height, and a good after sun oil will make sure that your skin is sun-kissed not sun parched. Massage Spiezia’s Organic After Sun Oil gently into all areas exposed to the sun and bathe in the wonderfully evocative summer scent, while organic Sesame and Olive Oils work together to re-hydrate thirsty skin. The trusted favourites St Johns Wort and Chamomile Oil will soothe and calm tender areas to restore your natural glow. Gently massage into all areas that have been exposed to the sun.

3. Elements Protection Balm Stick with SPF15 (17ml £10)
This balm is an essential product for anyone who loves outdoor life but not the harsh effects the weather can have on your skin and includes Sun Protection Factor 15 as well as being water repellent. Containing skin enriching and highly moisturising oils of Olive and Sesame infused with Carrot plus Vitamin E, the Protection Balm also combines the infused herbs of Comfrey and Calendula. The organic formula also means that there is no pollution of the seas when used for watersports. Apply generously to all exposed skin. Suitable for use on children, reapply frequently.

4. Detox & Balance Shampoo by Evolve (200ml £9.99)
Take control, get deep down clean with the purifying and pollution fighting properties of African superfood moringa seed, used for generations to purify water. Moringa peptides help to reduce styling buildup and urban pollution and rebalance the scalp, whilst wheat proteins and gentle coconut based cleansers add a gentle shine.

5. Rosemary Leg and Arm Toner by Dr. Hauschka (100ml £23.00)
Rosemary Leg & Arm Toner improves the circulation in legs and feet. Relieves leg cramps and “heavy” legs. Tones the skin and maintains the connective tissue. Promotes the lymphatic circulation in the legs. Refreshes tired legs. The product is invaluable if you have to stand a lot, or if you have to travel. As it promotes the lymphatic circulation in the legs, it helps to relieve swollen ankles and congestion.
