Beautiful traditional toys

Nicola Haxell cleverly turned her love of heirloom wooden toys into a business when she launched her online shop four years ago. And today you can indulge in her fabulous taste with a handpicked range of lovely stuff.

We particularly love the items in the Let’s Pretend area of the shop, like the beautiful hobby horse, made from handknitted woollen socks or the organic mouse dressed in stripy dungarees. Or the unbelievably gorgeous Faerytale baby shoes, created from felt, using natural dyes. Other sections include Castles and Knights, with a selection of wooden Ostheimer figures or Arty Adventures, stuffed with beeswax crayons, colouring books and crafty kids. I’m off to do a spot of shopping but wanted to let you know that there is a 5% discount on all orders from Green Parent readers, when you enter the code“greenparent”. Enjoy!
